Before Rich moved to Kennesaw from Florida, he scouted the area for two months, investigating cities that met his wish list. If you have children, you probably share his “must-haves” for a home.

Now, having lived here for several years, Rich is highly involved in the community. While running a real estate business, Rich attends North Metro church, is a member of Brookstone Country Club, and member of the Kennesaw Business Association.
Rich thrives on the quest to find the perfect housing for clients. This motivation has given him extensive real estate experience. After earning a bachelor’s degree focused on marketing, he founded and ran an e-commerce business. He was also Vice President for an online marketing firm.

National Association of Realtors Member
Rich is a realtor, more qualified than a real estate agent. To achieve the title of “realtor,” an agent must apply for membership with the National Association of Realtors (NAR). Rich remains in good standing, with an exemplary record and reputation.
Membership signifies that Rich is licensed to buy and sell real estate and adheres to the NAR Code of Ethics. He also receives ongoing training on industry standards. The Code stipulates ethical behaviors that realtors must demonstrate in their business dealings.
The Code of Ethics mirrors the Golden Rule of Jesus Christ. Coined in business as the “ethic of reciprocity,” the Code requires realtors to treat clients as they wish to be treated. Specifically, they must regard customers and other realtors with consideration, compassion, and goodwill. Realtors must also cooperate with each other, in the best interests of their clients.
As a NAR member, Rich has sworn to treat all parties in business dealings with honesty and fairness. He’s pledged to put client concerns before his own. The Code of Ethics contains 17 rules. Here are some that directly affect you:
- NAR members cannot discriminate against people on the basis of race, religion, ethnicity, national origin, gender, familial status, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Realtors cannot hide, exaggerate, or misrepresent facts related to business transactions.
- NAR members must be completely honest in their marketing and advertising.
- All contract details must be clearly documented, with all parties receiving copies.

Rich is also certified in Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), a course conducted by NAR. Certification qualifies him to competently handle foreclosures and short sales. In case these terms are unfamiliar, here’s an explanation.
A foreclosure is the return of property to a bank when a borrower is unable to make their mortgage payments. A short sale is when a bank accepts less than the amount owed on a mortgage, rather than making a foreclosure. Banks choose this option when they believe they’ll net more profit on a short sale than a future resale. Consequently, a homeowner can sell their house for less than they owe a bank.
Successfully handling foreclosures and short sales requires considerable skill. These are complex procedures. By taking the SFR certification course, Rich has acquired detailed knowledge of these real estate transactions.
Rich is adept at preparing sellers for short sales, developing sale packages, and negotiating with lenders. He’s well-versed in helping buyers obtain foreclosed and short sale properties. He has the insight to know when clients need the advice of legal, tax, and finance professionals and has the connections to make referrals.

After one year, you’re under no obligation to continue leasing or making a purchase. When the lease ends, you receive a refund of the security deposit.
